Nutty Marianne Williamson Will Not Be Suppressed By CNN

The circus aka the 2020 Democratic debate in blight riddled Detroit, was billed as the first of two nights of presidential hopefuls squaring-off against one another.

The featured attraction included two of the front runners and most progressive candidates within the field of the 24-wanna-be’s, Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, taking on a number of moderate Democrats attempting to pull the party back to the center where most voters reside.

However, the most intriguing candidate of the night, within this blustering mix of bloviating windbags was outsider Marianne Williamson, who was the most searched candidate on Google — despite CNN’s attempt to limit her presence on stage.

For those not familiar with this quirky unconventional 67-year old non-politician, who has somehow taken social media by storm, she’s a successful author lecturer and activist. Who ran unsuccessfully for political office back in 2014 as an Independent.

Williamson is also the founder of “Project Angel Food” a volunteer organization that delivers food to individuals suffering from HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses, shes also the co-founder for a nonprofit grassroots group called “Peace Alliance” which advocates and supports peace-building projects.

To the dismay of Democrats and party loyalists, Williamson changed her affiliation from Independent to Democrat announcing her candidacy for the presidency on January 29th, 2019.

The evening began with the predicated political talking-points by each of the candidates. Warren, Sanders, Klobuchar, Buttigieg, Ryan, Bullock, Hickenlooper, and Delaney all had their scripts memorized and ready to go. Except for Williamson who seemed to be actually conversing with the assembled audience and those tuning in on a metaphysical plane, which no doubt freaked out CNN, and perhaps the reason why CNN followed the same gameplan as in the first debate giving Williamson a third less speaking time than the other candidates.

In one heated exchange regarding student debt. Williamson exclaimed, “I’ve heard some people here tonight; I almost wonder why you’re Democrats.”

“You seem to think there’s something wrong about using the instruments of government to help people.”

In another dust-up with fellow Democrats concerning the water crisis in Flint, Michigan Williamson said the crisis is “deeper than Flint.”

Adding this type of incident that occurred in Flint would not have happened in Grosse Pointe, an affluent, majority-white suburb of Detroit where Williamson raised her daughter saying “Flint is just the tip of the iceberg,” concerning the broader issue of racial inequalities in American society.

“If you think any of this wonkiness is going to deal with this dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that this President is bringing up in this country, then I’m afraid that the Democrats are going to see some very dark days,” she continued.

On the issue of reparations for descendants of slaves, Williamson plan of a $500 billion dollar federal payout as reparations, an idea she said was a “payment of a debt that is owed.”

Adding, “It is time to simply realize that this country will not heal. People heal when there is deep-truth telling. We need to recognize that when it comes to the economic gap between blacks and whites in America, it does come from a great injustice that has never been dealt with.”

The progressive audience in attendance at the Fox Theatre in Detroit interrupted Williamson several times with loud applause as she talked about various issues. Moreover nearly every time she was given an opportunity to speak Google announced that interest in her surged on social media, to the dismay of CNN and no doubt the rest of the Democratic political establishment.

The Media’s attempt to paint Williamson as a “wacky new-age nutcase” is the same media that has vilified President Trump as a “racist” and “white nationalist.”

Obviously, no two individuals are more opposite then Trump and Williamson, and yet there’s a commonality of unvarnished truth as they see it, void of political spin, meaningless talking points, systemic corruption, and cronyism, that frightens the hell out of the political establishment along with the mainstream media.

I like Marianne Williamson. She speaks Truth to Power and recognizes that much of the profit-based healthcare industry doesn’t work to heal us or prevent illness. They’ve forced us to rely on expensive pharmaceuticals instead of finding causes of illnesses. You may or may not like her, but her voice is important.

She may not be as “nutty” as you think. The filing fee to run for president is $1000 and if she is doing this just get exposure, she’s getting a real advertising bargain . On her own, can’t imagine what the bill would be for this degree of exposure…. her out of pocket cost would be eye popping. She has to know she has 0 chance ,but we know her name now.
