Last week the emotionally unhinged House Speaker went into a tirade, claiming that President Trump “cannot be acquitted.”
In fact, the frazzled Pelosi began verbally abusing the President’s defense team – for no other reason than their masterful performance in discrediting and dismantling Schiff’s impeachment scam piece by piece.
Pelosi started by stating the Trump team of lawyers had “disgraced themselves” during the trial and suggested they deserve disbarment over their trial remarks.
The tightly-wound Speaker seemed to lose her well-crafted composer after learning that Republican Senator Lamar Alexander from the great state of Tennessee would likely vote for no additional witnesses — dashing the hopes of disgruntled Democrats.
The vindictive 79-year old lawmaker had gleefully predicted weeks ago that President Trump would forever wear the “scarlet-letter” of impeachment. However “acquittal” rather than a verdict of “not guilty” would historically tar the House for attempting to unseat a duly elected president, without any actual credible evidence of a crime being committed.
Perhaps sensing the historical significance, Pelosi attempted to challenge whether an acquittal would be valid, hoping to undermine the President’s claim of victory.
During her weekly news conference, she attempted to spin the facts:
“He will not be acquitted. You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial. You don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation and all of that. Does the president know right from wrong? I don’t think so.”
According to The Hill, Pelosi began her tirade after witnessing the President’s defense team calmly dissecting each article of impeachment.
“I don’t know how they can retain their lawyer status, in the comments that they’re making,” Pelosi told reporters. “I don’t think they made the case. I think they disgraced themselves terribly in terms of their violation of what our Constitution is about and what a president’s behavior should be.”
Pelosi also accused other Trump allies of attempting “to dismantle the Constitution” in order to shield the president from conviction and removal from office.
“Some of them are even lawyers,” Pelosi said. “Imagine that you would say — ever, of any president, no matter who he or she is or whatever party — if the president thinks that his or her presidency … is good for the country, then any action is justified — including encouraging a foreign government to have an impact on our elections.”
It would appear that although Pelosi’s rage “outwardly” is directed at the President and his legal team, the Speaker is perhaps angry at herself for being manipulated by extremist House freshmen to begin this impeachment journey that may very well cost them the House.
Perhaps equally disturbing to viewers watching at home was witnessing House impeachment manager Adam Schiff once again falsely fabricating an event on the Senate floor, which apparently fellow Californian Pelosi had no issues with.
Schiff’s description of a hypothetical conversation between President Trump and Russian Vladimir Putin was the latest example of how deceptive and deceitful House Democrats have become.
The pathological lying legislator began, “If the president went further and said to Putin in that secret meeting,” Schiff said earlier in the day on the Senate floor. “I want you to hack Burisma, I couldn’t get the Ukrainians to do it. And I’ll tell you what, you have Burisma, and you get me some good stuff, then I’m going to stop sending money to Ukraine.”
This, of course, was Schiff’s second instance of creating a hypothetical conversation involving the President. The first drew the ire of the White House when Schiff began this phony narration alluding to a bogus quid pro quo.
“‘We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen well. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it.”
Shifty Schiff continues, “And I’m going to put you in touch with Rudy. You’re going to love him — trust me. You know what I’m asking and so I’m only going to say this a few more times… And by the way, don’t call me again. I’ll call you when you’ve done what I asked.'”
