It was one of those rare moments at CNN when indisputable facts finally overwhelmed the network’s carefully orchestrated anti-Trump narrative.
Chief Legal Analyst Jeffery Toobin begrudgingly admitted “Trump won,”
Adding, “I mean, you know, he’s going to win this trial.”
Desperate House Democrats led by Pelosi, Schaff, and Nadler, clung to the hope that moderate Senate Republicans would give them more time to drag out the impeachment scam and tarnish the President going into the 2020 election cycle.
However, after a marathon session of charges and counter-charges, the Senate finally voted last Friday 49 to 51, defeating the proposal for additional witnesses by disgruntled Democrats. Only Republicans Susan Collins of Maine and “never-Trumper” Mitt Romney of Utah, voted with Democrats.
Toobin appearing resigned to the inevitable that the President was once again vindicated had attempted earlier during the trial to play the race card, concerning the President’s legal team, complaining that they were all white.
“He won on the issue of witnesses,” Toobin continued. “He’s gonna get acquitted, and that is how history will remember what went on here.”
The 59-year old progressive pundit forgetting for an instant his role on CNN drew an analogy in how history would record this moment, and perhaps without thinking exclaimed “pivotal witnesses who were available to the House of Representatives,” realizing his mistake Toobin quickly corrected himself stating “to the Senate.”
However to his loyal brain-dead followers, along with CNN honchos, the damage had already been done in the Senate, regardless of what Toobin would say.
Although Toobin attempted throughout the impeachment process to play the race card feeding into CNN’s narrative that the President is a racist, despite recent polls showing the President’s popularity among African American’s has actually doubled since taking office, to an astounding 40%.
Toobin continued his in-depth legal analysis by stating, “White House and white people.”
“This is a lesson in the diversity of the two parties,” Toobin declared. “You look at the House managers. It was almost evenly divided between men and women. You had two African Americans. You had a Hispanic. It was all white men today.”
The chief legal analyst admitted that there are “two white women allegedly on the team,” but quickly added, “we’ll see if they’re allowed to argue.”
Adding, “You know, in a visual medium when you have one side that has a very diverse team and the other side that’s all white men, that says something in and of itself.”
Perhaps to bean counters like Toobin, who apparently regard skin pigmentation has the criteria for choosing the President’s defense team, which once again illustrates how far removed progressive are from reality that he would suggest based on skin color who gets to defend the President, and who doesn’t.
Curtis Houck, the Managing Editor at Media Research Center, had chimed in on social media regarding Toobin’s ridiculous assertions.
“Here’s that clip of Toobin mocking the Trump legal team as “White House and white people” and “a lesson in the diversity of the two parties” (so ignoring how all lead 2020 Dems are white) He also went the sexism route, wondering if the female lawyers will be “allowed to argue”

Meanwhile, progressive protesters in the nation’s capital had a collective meltdown after the Senate vote, reminiscent of 2016, when the loons began screaming, crying and in a few instances baying at the moon.
One disturbed individual repeatedly shouted to no one in particular “Fu*k Trump!” and called the President a “dictator.” Another loon vigorously shook her bell.
A protester who had been using a megaphone told those who had gathered, “Our government has failed us.”
While there had been a small Capitol Police presence, more were brought in as the crowd became more agitated in the wake of the vote.
